Casual Guild Strolls Into Ulduar: 5 Bosses Die, Corpses Abused.
We Devils strolled into Ulduar last night to entertain ourselves for a while. Most of us were first timers, our had only seen Flame Leviathon. So you’d think we’d have a bit tougher time of it. But apparently, we are truly awesome. Shh! I don’t want to hear how it’s “easy since whatever nerfs” there will be no parade showers on this blog. So here’s how it went..
Flame Leviathon: 1 Shot!
Razorscale: 1 Shot!
XT Deconstructor: WHO THE HELL GAVE IT THAT VOICE??? 1 Shot. (And SOMEONE made me his Minion after I died)
Ignis: I can’t remember if this was a 2 or 3 shot, but he was the only one to give us any real trouble.
Kologarn: well hell, we didn’t expect to finish the first section of Ulduar, so why not go get this guy. We 2 shotted him. This is where the corpse abuse comes in.
First, we used a Gnome to pierce his nose.
Unfortunately that made his nose run, and another Gnome fell out.
And there were Achievements! (luckily MY eath on XT was to a light bomb)
Much fun was had by all!
We are the Sidhe Devils, Mighty Mighty Sidhe Devils. Yes, our tank IS wearing Bunny Ears…what of it???
Hah! I’ve been waiting on this post all day, minion.

Congratulations! Isn’t Ulduar fun? It’s my favorite raid in WotLK so far. If you can kill those 5 bosses I would say go for it and push towards Hodir. There are more fun fights in there.

I think you guys have something much more valuable than 1337 gear… from everything I’ve read, you guys have great group dynamics and strong communication. That’s key to successfully running Ulduar and ToC.

Congratulations!!!! I read a few Sidhe Devils blogs and you guys are a great reminder that WoW isn’t just about raid progress ASAP (something I think my guild forgets) and that raid progress doesn’t always come at the same time for everyone (something a lot of forum trolls don’t even realise).
If you enjoyed the first two sections of Ulduar then the next two are also fun. A word of warning. The further into Ulduar you go, the more evil the trash becomes!!! Evil in a ‘omg we wipe more on the trash than the bosses kind of way’ and in a ‘haven’t we cleared all the trash yet we’ve been here for aaages’ kind of way. But you guys will overcome
