I ralized I didn’t show the whole froggy setup last time. And since it’s monday, I have nothing else to say. So Here we go.

They really hate leaving the plants alone. I replant them, they uproot them. I have given up on it.

I changed the water on Saturday. A fairly simple procedure. drain 3/4 of it out with a baster, and refill with spring water. I had no choice since they decided to do what boy and girl frogs do, and leave little eggs all over it, also the male had decided it was time to shed his skin, and there was icky floating around. It should be good for six months now. I just need a very small skimmer net.

They are quite fun to watch, and listen to. They’ve started singing to me in the evenings. And sometimes, they’re even photogenic.

Froggy Say Relax!

They still need names. We definitely have male and female.

First, Bioware announces DLC for Dragon Age:origins. This should be cause for excitement right? No. “Have you ever wanted to play as Darkspawn?” No. No sirs I haven’t. Hmmm let’s look at the choices. Play as any one of my thinking, intelligent, strategic wardens making choices or even just adding more to her history so far, OR play as a mindless, barbaric, unintelligent hack and slash only monster? I’ll take door number one! I know from reading the boards there is a niche for this. And I don’t have to buy it. I just hope since they’re apparently satisfying this niche, they will satisfy the rest of us soon. Am I curious about it? maybe a little. But I also know that money talks, so I won’t pay to see it.

Then, I read my guild blog and see this Alpha info about tree druids. Don’t click that if you don’t want spoiled. Yes, I realize it’s alpha, and may change, but they seemed pretty sure that tree form was being reduced to a CD ability to allow resto’s to do some damage. Eff that. If I want to do some damage, I have plenty of toons that do it, and do it well. This will spell the end of my druiding. Unfortunately, she has all my pets.

Speaking of pets. I picked up a little “Living Aquarium”

It’s a mini bio system, pretty much self maintaining. Change the water twice per year that’s it. It came with a couple little critters I’ve wanted since my days at the pet store back home. A cute pair of African Dwarf Frogs.  They’re quite fun to watch hustling around their little home.

I really didn’t have a blog post for today. But I was toying with Dragon Age:Origins – Awakening. I haven’t played it since I ran through the week it released. So, I dragged Kasha in. She has excellent form I must say.

But this particular darkspawn really seems to have a gift for sign language, on top of speech. Guess that blade through his thigh ticked him off.

What a weekend! I’m playing WoW again, sure after five months away I’m a bit rusty. But that’s ok.  I have all my girls settled into their new homes, and have taken my grandmother’s dating advice. Play the field.

My Hunter is now a Dwarf, joining my Shammy, and Rogue in Parallel where I was pleasantly surprised to find everyone I played with before I quit! Over the weekend, after I reinstalled from scratch, my Shammy gained two levels, a set of heirloom shoulders, and 31 pets. My Hunter, before the switch from Night Elf to Dwarf supplied the badges after hitting the weekly raid boss. Was that joking and screwing around I heard on vent? Yes! yes it was!! My mage and Warlock on Kael’thas have gone horde as well, joining our hordeside guild. And of course there’s my three 80 horde gals on Ratters server.

I’ve decided to find the fun in the game again. Not sit and sulk because it isn’t all up in my face. If I get bored at 80, I have lowbies. If I get bored with Alliance I have horde.

I’m not worrying about gear upgrades either. Cataclysm isn’t far off, and Blizzard usually makes sure they have you at least ready for the early end game stuff by the time you hit the level cap. If I get to raid, great, if I get something nice that drops, good. If not…well who cares?

You know what? Maybe I’ll get that shammy to 80. Maybe I won’t. But at least I’m back, and happy. Content even.

But I still wish my mage could look like this…
