Last night was another first for me. I took Jess to Molten Core. She was only Level 10 or so when BC came out, so she never saw anything of the Old World dungeons and raids outside of Scarlet Monastery and Deadmines. It was all very cool, especially listening to the rest of the team reminiscing about the 40 man days in there. I can definitely picture our raid leader managing 40 people, he’s really good. It almost makes me wish I’d started playing sooner, but I guess I’ll have similar memories of doing Kara when the WOTLK comes out. I’m going to miss Kara actually. It’s by far my favorite group activity. I did get my T1 boots, A nice little souvenir from the first MC boss.

Ragnaros was by far the most impressive event last night. The whole dramatic build up, the fight, even if I got thrown BEHIND the mountain and had to HoT myself swimming through a river of lava to get back to my tanks to heal them. That was impressive too, a challenge I haven’t faced before.

And Bonus, I now understand the post I made about the lvl 60 bosses being neglected!

BRK and Ratshag have teamed up for a running of the bulls. We race to Hammerfall. this is a moo tribute to one of BRK’s guildies that has recently passed away. I know how that goes, as we lost on of our own last summer. The guy that is responsible for my priest’s existance as a matter of fact. So, even if I miss the actual race, I wanted to at least create my cow (anudderjess), and hang out. AC, and all of Sharvan’s friends, my condolences.

It’s Children’s Week in WoW which means…new non combat pets! This was the first year my toons could do the outlands orphanage quests, and my druid could do any of them. So, at the moment I have an egbert (pictured) for Jess, a baby elekk for my druid, and my hunter hasn’t decided yet. probably another Egbert, he’s just adorable. I mean look at the little guy! I love non combat pets. I have tons of them. no rare ones really. You can see the ones I have on all three characters HERE . I think I have more but I’ll have to look when I log in tomorrow. That’s right, I’m getting my playing mojo back!

Hopefully the server won’t be all screwy tomorrow and I’ll get some dailies done. When I’m not trying to get my hunter her new  pet of course. Priorities ya know.

*note…I forgot to mention, it’s Children’s Week for me, because I’m on an Oceanic server. Things tend to happen a bit sooner there than US time zone servers.
