Oh where to start. So many good things this weekend, and so little time. And coffee. I haven’t had any yet so if I start making no sense…blame that.

Lady Jess- We didn’t sign up for Kara this weekend. But Friday night we got a phone call (RL guild friends ftw?) saying “GL wants to know if you’d come to Kara and heal for Moroes”…well, I wasn’t doing anything else at the time so…sure. Went in, one shotted the addled old man. He dropped that healing offhand which I was happyto see go to one of our newer attuned healers. Our Happy Tree Friend. Jess was garotted in that fight, and survived it!!! That’s only the second time that has happened, and I saw a lot of druid and shammy heals hitting me. The first time, our resto shammy kept me up the whole time..it was amazing. When he went down, I got my first off spec epic Shadow Cloak Of Dalaran. I like it a bit better than Lifegiving Cloak, but I just keep both with me. That was Jess’s news. Now on to Teranna, she had a great Sunday…

Teranna- we have been reading craptons of BRK and may have hit her stride finally as a result. Someone needed dps for a heroic Slave Pens run. Now, mind you I have a smattering of lvl 60-ish blues, and greens, and a couple 70 blues. But they asked me, I wasn’t going to refuse. I grabbed Whispurr and off I went to grab the daily. They were just finished with the 2nd boss. Well we had a few oopses, and wiped on the last boss, and ran out of time. So we decided we’d go back later. In the meantime, I had a Shattered Halls run set up for later.

Jess still has nightmares about this place. So many wipes, so many times Kargath would not drop Lightsworn Hammer. But, no time to focus on the past. I’m happy to say we one shotted the joint, no wipes, including Kargath. I helped with the adds, altho our mage was doing fine, I had Whispurr running between Kargath and adds effectively. And I even got a new bow. I carry both Lohn’goron, Bow of the Torn-heart and Skyfire Hawk Bow, until she decides which is better. I think the Skyfire myself, but I’ve been wrong before. Kargath did NOT drop my Beast Lord Handguards. But he will.

Back to Heroic Slave Pens! This is where the really cool stuff happened. First of all we one shotted that last boss this time. And on our way to him through the trash respawns, my scrolling combat text informs me that Whispurr just hit a massive crit on a Kill Command. Screenshot or it didn’t happen…

We were so proud of our Ghost Kitty!!! At the end, I even got my first epic. They’re leather, but that’s ok. There were no leather equippable players there, and I desperately needed the upgrade, so I’m wearing Midnight Legguards. We now have a hit rating of 100 and Crit rating of 74 I think it was when I looked. Oh and that last HSP run? Tera was tops in dps the whole way through, until the last boss, where of course we had to drop AotH for AoN. It was indeed a good weekend. And now…I need coffee :biggrin_wp:

So, hubby goes to the field last night. Me being the night owl and wonderful wife that I am, made him breakfast at 2am, he was leaving at 3. In the course of conversation, I asked if I needed to know anything about the truck, since I’d have it. Very casually he says …

“oh yeah. The oil pressure drops and the check engine light comes on. By the way, we need an oil change on payday” *facepalm* ya think?? So, I check the oil this morning , cold. Darned near empty. Had a quart in there, so I popped it in the truck, ran to the shoppette to get more. I’ll put it in tomorrow.

We all know something goes wrong the day they leave, at least I found out beforehand what it was right? Shadow is sulking, this will last a day or two. The big baby. Worse than a child.

Tax time is coming, I am anxious and apprehensive. So much we need out of that one payment. But it should be ok. A washer and dryer of course, possibly a computer…hubby’s seems to be dying on us. Bills to pay off, and of course the grab two carts and attack the grocery store thing to fill the freezer and cabinets to capacity. Oh and spring cleaning supplies. That’s always fun.

Nothing new going on though, same stuff different day.
