I didn’t have any last minute goals until this weekend. When guildie, Twice, asked if I had a Tiny Sporebat pet. I did not. I’d rushed my druid through outlands so fat, trying to catch up to my priests level of gear and experience, I didn’t have the time. Then all through Wrath there was too much to do, or I wasn’t playing at all. So, I started farming Sporeggar rep. I eventually, after 6 runs of Underbog, and 420 Sanguine Hibiscus, got it.
It also started me on a journey that finally ended today.
This journey took me to Feralas, and Winterspring to gain the trust of the Timbermaw. These quests are much better now, yielding tons of rep per turning. At 20 reputation per kill, and minimum 1400-2000 per quest/item turnin, Neutral to Exalted took only a couple hours. Plus the changes to the Furbolg camps are adorable. You should visit!
I also had to visit Silithus. Trying my best to ignore the twitching legs and buzzing insects and heebie jeebies the place gives me. I actually had company getting through the zone quests. That made it TONS easier. I’d wanted the Guardian of Cenarius title on my druid since it came out. I saw I was quite close to exalted with the Expedition, So I ventured to Northrend and collected some Lackey Ears for turn in to finish it off. Silithus took the longest, but eventually I got there. And I even managed to find a little beauty on the way.![]()
Then I just kept going. I couldn’t stop. I got Argent Dawn, Kurenai, 20 exalted reputations, Guardian of Cenarius, The Argent Champion, The Diplomat, they just kept coming. So, it is done. And now I wait like everyone else until Cataclysm launches. Or more accurately until I get my copy from UPS tomorrow. Or I could fly around on that Albino Drake I got after my 50th mount.

A while back I said i might have something awesome. Well there it us. As of January I will be a full time college student through Penn State’s distance ed program,World Campus. I’ll be starting with an associates degree in letters, arts, and sciences. Aftee that a bachelor’s in law and society. My goal is to work as a paralegal. I realize that doesn’t require tgat extent of degree but i may want to take it further. Also i might change the plan and go for criminal justice instead. We’ll see.
So, I discovered even tracing a picture is hard. I was trying to draw my City elf for Warden’s Vigil. But tracing stopped working past basic lines. It took me all day, but I’m finally happy with SOMETHING.
Done purely in photoshop with my Wacom drawing tablet.
Yeah, she’s a bit of a sourpuss what can I say?
I keep trying to NOT SAY the words “I can’t” when it comes to drawing. I keep trying and trying, and being unsuccessful. But, I keep trying. Today, I finally got frustrated and almost said it. Instead, I sat the stylus down and went back to my comfort zone. Filters, pen tool, and actions in photoshop. And I turned an ordinary in game full color screenshot…into this.
And then into this…
At least I can still do that much. But the urge to learn more is still there. Sadly, the patience is not.
