I was reading our favorite /huggable rogue yesterday, and had to agree with him. Go read, I’ll still be here.� Trying to do all the dailies is a total brain melting grind.� I myself haven’t been doing them at all lately. Until the Tourney came along. There’s pets involved, I’m going to have them.� I got through the Valiant phase, made champion, and then remembered something Stoppable Force mentioned in BA chat.� You can do your champion dailies, AND another cities’ Valiant dailies.

Two of these will complete at the same time. The first being the one where you fight Scouts, Lieutenants, etc near the gate. The� OTHER is what excited me into writing this post.

It struck me how close Shadow Vault is to the Tourney grounds. The three Shadowvault dailies are in my opinion the most convenient and fastest dailies.

1. Leave Our Mark- Stick a banner in 15 Jotunheim corpses.
2. Vile Like Fire- Burn 8 buildings using a stolen proto drake.
3. Shoot ‘Em Up- shoot down 15 riders using one of the harpoon guns.

How does this tie in to the tourney? Easy. As both a valiant and a champion, you get a quest to kill 10 or 15 scourge. (8 if you’re still an aspirant.), or BOTH if your Championing your chosen city AND running the Valiant for another. � I’ve highlighted Leave Our Mark because that my friends is the thing that makes Tourney+Shadow Vault dailies = easy money.

You see, the mobs you kill count towards both Taking Battle To The Enemy AND Valiant’s Field Training (as well as the Aspirant version). You are completing THREE daily quests with ONE set of mobs. I included Shoot Em Up and Vile like Fire simply because you’re already THERE, why not? They take like 2 minutes each. Do it! Grab all your dailies, head to Jotunheim and go nuts!� While everyone else is killing scourge just outside the Tourney grounds and making 13g you can be in Jotunheaim earning� around 65g without having to scrounge for mobs.

There was Mammoths in trees, Jousting, Achievements, and crow Eating! Be prepared for a crapton of screenshots, and alot of words!

First off, I dual specced. Yes, I KNOW I did alot of bitching and moaning that I wouldn’t. That I didn’t WANT to learn to heal over again, blah blah blah. But dude! It’s an achievement! And…I’ve bitched and moaned alot longer that I wanted the ability to freely change between Boomkin and Tree. So there it is. I even managed to heal our favorite Bear through heroic Violet Hold without him losing too much fur!

Speaking of Instances, said bear squeezed into a Dwarf costume and ran Strat, I got to go along for the ride, which was awesome having never been there. I even got to meet Mrs Bear! The baron wouldn’t give up the mount though.

I do not like jousting at all. In fact the only reason I got the 3 Alliance valiants done was because a very kind (or bored) mage named Steelmor was nuking the valiants from center ring for me. Thanks Steel! No matter how many good guides I read, just no. I finally got the achievement by staying on the opponents tail and tossing shield breakers when they ran away. I’d run after them launching SB on the move and melee. Wash, rinse, repeat. These pets are going to be painful to collect, but I’ll do it. Expect much /flailsying.

Also, there seem to be some changes that came with the patch that we are just going to discover as we go. Such as Emblems of Heroism and Valor being auto distributed to the party/raid when one person loots. Very cool addition. However much to the dismay of classes with ground effect spells, a change to the video settings caused a stiry by seemingly making them disappear! Thanks to a WoW Insider article about these things, the secret was revealed. There is a video setting, with a checkbox that needs to be checked in order to see many ground effects.

And that about covers my weekend in WoW. Oh, I guess I never really posted about my guild/server change. I moved my druid and hunter to those crazy Sidhe Devils. No drama to report though, sorry:P Just expanding my social experience in the game I guess you could say. And Sidhe Devils has been tempting for quite some time, so I just went for it. I still have a toon on Khaz’goroth, so they’re stuck with me too. HA!

And finally, there’s something you don’t see every day. It looks really uncomfortable for the poor mammoth though.
