And, dusting the tanking gear off on my pally and running ToC with some awesome guildmates. We had this Death Knoob tho…who decided to put on his Dark Iron Dwarf costume and just surf through the whole thing…

It was my first time tanking ToC so we did it on normal. It could have gone a BIT more smoothly on my end, but we survived even after I ran out of the instance MID Joust. Yeah, you read that right. We finished jousting the trash, and Bre says “ok bosses are up”. Suddenly in MY head, we were at the part where you run out after they’re dismounted. Gimme a break, it’s Brewfest, and I was drinking all day…

I have finally overcome my fear of tanking a heroic. Well, the easy ones anyhow. There was only one way to do it of course. dive in!! So I found a group of willing victims guildies, and off we went to heroic UK.  Things were going smoothly, except maybe when I pulled…like 5 mobs. But no wipe!  We pretty much blew right through it. I credit my awesome DPSers and healer.  Although I did have quite a Romeo and Juliet experience after the final boss…

That’s right, I died when he did. Apparently his final words were “If I’m goin down I’m takin you with me!”. A bit cranky are we ?? Friggin sore loseWeight Exerciser!

Since we made such nice time in UK, we decided to take on Violet Hold. Oh Em Gee some of those pulls are dicey. Dear lord! The one split pull I managed the first time, but the second time the darned mobs decided to just take a tour of the joint. Oh and there’s always Mr. Inthefloor guy that comes from the far right portal. Let’s play tank-a-boo! But we kicked ass in there.

What you don’t see is our “Defenseless” achievement.  I got my very first equippable epic drop. YAY PANTS!! These two runs gave me enough emblems to finally get a real tanking libram. That thing is the bees knees I say. Every time I judge now, I can be a Brick HOUSE! *dances a little*….where was I? OH…that got me…

Of course I didn’t need an achievement to tell me that. I’m a DWARF after all. With HUGE….tracts of land.
