Background by unlikely tool! I used a makeup wedge dipped in an inkpad for the background. I finally found a white Gelly Roll pen, and the silver is from “outliners” as I knew them, now known as Memory Liners.
Look what I got!
I even got more sharpies in lots of awesome colors. I am set up! I’m also still doing the Index Card a Day (ICAD) prompt from Daisy Yellow. @N04/5791386666/">
This little guy was today’s card. I find making myself draw something, anything, daily is helping me see that I don’t NEED to do humans or realism to really draw. Maybe those things will come some day but for now? I’m happy doing things like this and art journals. I may even do as my guildie Algie suggested and Art Journal my upcoming cross country drive to our new home, Georgia.
Oh as for those sharpies? Gotta love it…

Oh and the best news of all! Hubby is officially a Drill Sgt!! Look out Army!
Over at Daisy Yellow she has started an Index Card a Day Prompt. You grab a pack of index cards and do whatever strikes your fancy daily. Doodle, write, haiku, whatever once a day, with one day off. As I’m just starting to figure out what I like doing, and what my limits are this is great! So I doodled for my first one.
