We've had hosting issues over at my blog, too. I got a huge influx and crashed when I got some wowinsider publicity after my blog first got put up (apparently, going from 100 visitors to 4,000 visitors in one day = hosting nightmare). We still can't move my site for a while, but wherever my boyfriend has it hosted is managing to keep it stable enough that we haven't had problems since then (even with bout 1,000 visitors on average a day right now).

We have a new hosting provider that my BF moved everything else to (his sites & our guild webpages we host). I hope everything works out for you at your new host!
