1. I had a jammie day! That’s right, I didn’t get dressed. I sat around in my comfy Eeyore jammy pants and pink hoody all day. I relaxed, I played some WoW, watched some TV, and basically vegged out.
2. I got to see a Steeler’s preseason game on TV!
3. The Steelers won 20-10…wooot!!
4. I got a butt load of stuff printed out for Hubby. Hoping this can be the "thing" I do this deployment. Though finding materials can be hard. i’ve got a few NFL and Steeler articles, some comics, and a couple funny news stories. Added some comments by me to some of them. I think it’s a neat idea for his boxes.
5. I DID get some housework done this evening. I cleaned out a corner that bugged me beside my desk, and vacuumed. Mainly so I can just run errands tomorrow, and relax in the evening with my friends in WoW.
I’m excited about tomorrow! Another payday out of the way! 22 to go! I’ll also be picking up my Dell Mini. They have them at the PX cheaper even than online. This will give me the flexibility to go read a book in my room without worrying about hearing my computer in the living room when I need some "me" time. It will also allow me to play WoW on my main computer and monitor email, IM, and such on the laptop. I have a busy day ahead of me, but I’m looking forward to it. Plans include…
1. Get up early, have coffee!
2. Hit the PX when they open at 10am and get the things I need there.
3. Hit the commissary and grab some goodies for hubby.
4. Zip over to the bank and drop some money in Hubby’s account, he shouldn’t be running short but I have no way of knowing for sure. Better safe than sorry.
5. Come home and pack 2 boxes. One full of toiletries and non perishables. I don’t know WHAT he needs. But I am assuming from our FRG meeting they don’t have much if any access to a px type place. The other full of foods I know he enjoyed the last time he deployed, and maybe some special treats.
6. Get to the post office, mail both boxes and grab extra customs forms. They do not put enough room on those things, so it takes multiples to send just one box.
7. Grab something yummy for us to eat for dinner
8. Come home to stay, set up the new laptop, order a photo printer online because noone sells the one I want close enough to me, and I really want to start sending pictures to him. Get online, and play WoW.
Can’t wait to get started!
Let me know what you think of the Dell Mini. I am very interested in one for myself, for the same reasons you got one, lol. I was worried about playing games on it and if the gaming aspects are up to par (graphics card, etc)

I really doubt it’s going to be capable of gaming, at least not graphically intense ones. It has sufficient processor at 1gb, and probably RAM and hard drive. I figured on playing WoW on my desktop, since I pretty much had it customized for gaming and photography stuff. But I’ll let you know how it does if I get silly and install WoW on it…lol
