See that screenshot over there? That’s just a PART of the epic fun we had in Naxx this week. It was my first time going past Heigan on Thursday when we cleared the plague quarter. So when we entered the construct quarter, I was in new territory. I had no idea what to expect, but the Devils had done it before so I just made healthbars go to the right and tried not to stand in stuff. We cleared the quarter in no time. Though I must say slimes can go DIE IN A FIRE!! I got to die TWICE in that stupid hallway. I was no sooner rezzed after the first one, then I walked two feet and dropped dead again. Yet again making “rezzing Jess” the theme of the night.

From there, it was on to the Military Quarter, new territory for all of us. I was a bit nervous. It’s always a bit scary healing in a raid of people you’ve just joined. But they made it a cake walk. Seriously, you’d never have known this was new content. One shotted everyone. They even let me tank one of the horsemen! It starts with a Z. I forget his name. And epic fail, I didn’t even get a screenshot. That was my favorite fight in the raid thus far. Running back and forth between Blaumeaux and Zman, healing the other tank as we passed each other on the transition. Just awesome. The first time I’ve ever enjoyed a gimmicky fight.� Then came Saphhiron. Oh. My. God. Let me tell you, I have seen some epic moments. I’ve seen a druid and one tank get Nightbane down to 5% before they met their end. I just never thought I’d be the druid.

Thanks Drak, but You Da Dwarf!

The chills were brutal. And everyone was doing great getting behind iceblocks, and staying out of the chills. But eventually 6 of our raid died. Leaving our 2 pallies, a shadow priest, and me, with Sapph around 30%.  Being a healer, i just kept throwing HoTs. It’s what I do. I’m not giving up til the tank is dead. Or I am.  Bear calls out on vent to Drak (our shadow priest, who has a few more gray hairs now) “Drak! Help heal!” The poor dwarf almost had a heart attack getting to his holy spells, but he did a kickass job of helping me both stay alive and keep those pallies up. And my lord those two Palies…Oli and Grai, did one hell of a job, I know they had to be self healing too. My cooldowns were working for me thank goodness. Just as Bear thought my mana bar was not going to hold out, my innervate came up. One more second, and we’d have been done. But nope, we were back in business. 105…9…8…you get the idea. 1%!!! This is where I want to kill Xperl, it says 0% and that nasty bag of bones was still breathing! Finally, she drops. You should have heard vent. It was a moment I’d never forget. Along with the “Rezzing Jessmyn” that came right after, because I dropped dead from a leftover chill. So much for “making healthbars go right and not standing in stuff”. /facepalm

Time for the next boss. Some dress wearing Lich named Kel’Thuzad. We were all pretty tired by then. I mean what, with all the adrenaline from that Sapph fight, who could blame us. After 3 attempts we called it. Until today. We had gotten so close yesterday, we just couldn’t let the bastard survive til reset. He had to die. HAD. TO. So we did what any self respecting guild would do. We marched right in there, got in position and killed him IN THE FACE! One shot, one kill. It was a great moment. Which I would have enjoyed but I had hit my enrage timer.

When I hit “Rebirth” I do not need to be told “your target is dead”. I’m really effin aware of that!! hence my hitting the spell in the first place!!

Second, when I am trying to cast innervate on MYSELF, “your target is dead” is NOT an appropriate response! And after I double check that I have no target, don’t say it AGAIN just self cast it like you’re supposed to! And when I target myself, “your target is dead” is at this point really effing annoying!

It friggin figures ya know? I’m getting Revitalize procs, even though I am NOT specced for it, but my base spells decide to go on strike!

Truly an epic weekend. Absofrigginlutely amazing. OH! And I forgot to mention, my trinkets are now upgraded. I’m now sporting The Egg of Mortal Essence and Spirit World Glass!� I guess I should mention the pet that got me to the magical number 75, earning me my little fawn. He’s epic too! I kid you not, EPIC as in loot epic. Meet Howie (hey, he looked like a Howie to me). We’re just going to call him my Mother’s Day present k?

On a technical note, I’m having some issues with my hosting. It seems one of my plugins was causing me to use too mch CPU. Don’t ask me, I just get the notices. If my use doesn’t get below 1% they’ll suspend me. I’ve disabled the offending addon, and contacted it’s author in hopes they’ll be able to make it stop that. In the mean time I’m hoping to make it til October, since I’m paid through then. After which, I’m looking for a higher CPU limit. I think I’ve found one that suits my needs but I’m taking suggestions.� So if the site is slow, or down, that is why. And that’s also why the screenshot gallery is gone from the main page. Never fear though, there are always screenshots in the pages
