Ft Lewis had a small Motorcycle show this weekend. And before my headache knocked me to the couch, I managed to go try my hand at shooting some chrome. I love Chrome on bikes, and I love the curves, and lines of the pipes and engines. I do have a weakness though. I forget when my brain slips into photographer mode, to step back and take a few normal snapshots too.  Ooops. Click thumbnails to embiggify.

The death knights at  Death’s Rise care about sharks too. So much in fact, they needed blood samples to research (or something). So, I, being the animal lover I am, helped attain them. I mentioned a while back that my husband earned an award while over in Afghanistan. At the time I didn't have the whole story, and it wasn't official yet. However, I do now, and it is. He received copies of it yesterday, since he won't be here for the ceremony. He'll receive the originals when he gets back from school. I'm very glad I didn't know then.
