I admit it. I’m cheating on Azeroth. I hit a funk this month. The holidays are coming, I miss my man like mad, and I have tons of baking, cleaning, and stuff to do as well as having company in the next week or so. So I’ve been dallying with an old game I forgot about. It’s kinda cool though. Both my girls play it too, so we can share ideas. And they can help me when my old brain gets confused. I’ve been playing…Sims 2. In fact, I think I’m grabbing Sims 3 today. Meet the W’s.
He’s a General, she’s a professional party guest, and they have two teen daughters. They are currently building their own house because they’re really fussy about bedroom space. They also have a nice tropical vacation planned.
I haven’t played this since 2006, and now there’s a new one out. I hate when that happens. I finally get my family about where I want them, and there’s the new version, beaming brightly on the store shelf just begging me to buy it. Even though there are still xpacs I want for the old version, and none released yet for the new one. However, both versions play as seperate games, which is nice. This way Ican build the new W family up in 3, and keep the other going til xpacs start trickling out.
Hell, if I can’t have my man in real life, or get my kids to do homework, at least I can Sim!

If you can get the Sims 3 I highly recomend it. There are so many neat things you can do in it that you couldn’t even think of to do in the Sims 2.
The extra features added make it worth starting over.
This is really making me want to play the Sims.. I had quite a few xpacs for it, sigh, why did I sell it?
I’ve preordered the Sims 3 Adventure expansion pack (I think it comes out this Friday). I was a Sims addict long before I started playing WoW. I like that you can also upload and share your in game creations pretty easily with Sims 3.
