Hunters, when choosing a pet, I totally understand wanting that epicly rare spawn, or that special breed. But I must advocate looking into rescues. These pets NEED someone to save them from their surroundings, to teach them trust of humanoids again. To give them unnconditional love. Look at my most recent stable addition. The poor thing was being cornered by three evil puppy men in Scholazaar.

Now he’s safe, and secure and cared for. Free of their poking spears and taunts. Now, get out there and rescue a pet in need!!

I thought I killed him 0_0
I have that cat too!
In TBC, I found out about humar after I turned 70 and I was really bummed out I couldn’t get him. I was so happy when I found this cat in SB. I like this cat more than any other cats.
You rescued that poor pet from those 3 horrible guys… only to eventually drag him into a dungeon full of monsters so horrible they make those 3 horrible guys look like bunnies… and then you order the poor cat to go attack them?
Can anyone say “out of the frying pan and into the fire”?
but that’s why we have YOU Hairy. YOU get hit by the big nasty dungeon mobs, and Kitty just stands behind them and does his shredding. He is a smart kitty, and shall not growl, and will even cower to allow your aggro to flow unfettered!
Looks just like Humar Pride Lord, but he’s in the Barrens. I just got him this morning. Great kitty pet. I named my Humar Cinder.
Nice kitty!
I recently tamed a plainstrider on my hunter alt. Not the special pink one, not one of the purple ones, just a common white plainstrider and I looooooooooooove it. It’s so…cute!
…>.> Don’t tell the other warriors out there that I said that!
