Gruul, Ogres, and Elekk Riding

Tonight was Gruul’s Lair. More healing practice for Syn! Shhh…don’t tell my guildies they’re all guinea pigs, which by the way do NOT go oink oink…Fim. But what do you expect from a guy that gets lazy and tries to ride poor Peanut the baby elekk through the run. Poor Peanut.
Now, where was I? Oh yes. we actually got (eventually) 25 people! But not before we one shotted HKM and his band of decidedly unmerry men. Err…Ogres. well, Kiggler definitely isn’t merry. He’s just nuts. Sorry, lost myself again. HKM was generous enough to drop some nice tokens. TWO defenders even. Woot! They went to a freshly 70 warrior (freshly as in the last 24 hours! Grats Gahrie!) and…who got that 2nd token? Hmm…I was just there, you’d THINK I’d remember. It was a great run, it always is. The humor on vent never ends. Which is good when you’re spending a few hours standing unbearably close to the ass end of an ogre.

Oh, I remembered who got that other token! ME! Aren’t they prettiful?  What? It’s a word! All she needs now is a nice healy offhand, a couple trinkets (dungeon drops and alchemy goodies) and her t4 gloves and helm. I’m saving my badges for the SSO leather healy legs. Of course after I write this, I need to get back in game, farm up some gold to gem my shoulders, and turn in a fel arm and get the shoulder enchant. Maybe I’ll see if I can scare up a slabs run, or something. I’d like to get my idol off the first boss. Or maybe a Bot run, with hopes of getting my bangle trinket. Maybe heroic even to get badges. Gah I still need BM too, my alch quest is still half done.

I lost the point again didn’t I? we didn’t get gruul down, though we got him under 50% twice. Those shatters really suck. At one point, me, another tree, and a shammy all got stoned together, and took each other out. Hmm…*reads that sentence* I bet I get some interesting search strings out of THAT. But we’ll get there, it’ll happen. I has faith!

And yes, yes I do know where the ogres poop in the woods.
