The Weather Outside is Frightful…
For the first time, I’m forced to not laugh at these dire weather predictions. We are in for a snowstorm, with high winds this evening and into tomorrow. And while it’s been amusing to giggle over snow days and delays from our standpoint, we must keep in mind this area doesn’t possess the resources to deal with this weather. Though, this IS the 2nd year in a row they’ve had to, so they might want to start considering getting them gathered up.
Basically, if you don’t see me online, on twitter, blogs, or WoW I’m probably sitting here reading books by candlelight. Worse comes to worse we’ll open one of the kids presents and play scrabble.
Meanwhile, I’m off to find candles, dig out extra blankets, and grab a shower. Hubby is off signing out on his leave (woot! 2 weeks of hubby home!), grabbing coffee and creamer. You know..necessities. EVERYTHING in our house is electric, pray we keep power.
Whatever you do, dont try to play a game that has pieces that are close in color like blue and green. My husband, MIL and I tried to play Sequence and it became a nightmare trying to see the blue and green chips by candle light. Keep warm and stay safe.
