I’ll Take That Chimaera Rare Please

Vizzini

I found him!! I had tried for several hours earlier in the week to find Nuramoc in Netherstorm. The ONLY Chimaera that could convince me to tame one. But no luck. So, after my druid finished a TK run (A’lar and Void Reaver down…woot!) I went to look again. I waited. I circled Netherstorm on a slow bird checking all of his routes. I waited a bit more, and said…meh, I’ll just give up.

Just as I summoned my flying mount, I saw a blip on my minimap. I assumed it was that silly phase hunter that had been teasing me. Then I got spit at. In a moment of sheer adrenaline and panic, I managed to dismount. THEN remembered I had to abandon my nether ray. A pet I didn’t really want anyhow. I wanted THIS guy for PvP. THEN I had to get to my tame pet button, and PRAY my health would hold out. Man, he hits hard. Luckily the taming spell finished BEFORE my health bar, and I now have Nuramoc. From here on known as Vizzini, for his cunning. Thanks goes to Mania, because without an article I’d seen in August, I wouldn’t have even known this guy existed!

Also, thanks to a timely video, Fezzik, my Gorilla hit level 70 in just a few hours of demon farming. Aoe FTW!!

Aaaaaagh!
Congrats, I am so jealous! I have been camping that guy for three days now, and the only time I actually saw him, someone else beat me to the tame. *sigh* He’s the last pet I actually -want-, now that I’ve got my Chompy and my gorilladin. I got King Mukla in the hopes that someday I’ll be in the Scryer bank and someone will have a bank full of gorilla thanks to that weird size glitch. We’ll see.
And I’ll be spending a few more hours in Netherstorm tonight, you betcha!
