goldstaraward I needed to run Black Morass. I was hoping to do The Arcatraz for my kara key frag first but, my alchemy quest had to be completed. So, I grit my teeth, take a deep breath and jump in the Looking For Group channel. The last time I tried this, the group died before we even got to Tanaris. Now, I’m not in the habit of naming names on this blog. But this group was simply awesome. Not only did everyone know they’re job, they were friendly, funny, and a joy to run with. And considering I was the healer, this was a big step for me.  We had a prot pally named Mer, 2 shadow priests, Moans and Agawaateshin, me on my druid, and a dps warrior named Dreadforge. After a successful run, we turned right around, reset it, and ran it again, which got me my last two essence of infinity, and completed the quest for my elixir specialization! Thank you guys (as if they’ll read this…lol but ya never know)!! And God I love shadow priests, I’ve been one for a year+, but I never get the benefits. But on my druid tonight…I had mana coming out of my ears!

Good pick-up groups like the one in your most recent experience are why I tend to keep throwing myself into the LookingForGroup interface. Well, that and because I’m a masochist that enjoys a challenge! Sometimes you just find yourself pleasantly surprised and you can build relationships with new people that you would never otherwise meet outside of your limited circle of friends and guildmates.

And congratulations on completing your elixir specialization quest!
