So, I attended BRK’s Gnaked Gnome Race. Although I was unable to get any screenshots. My laptop doesn’t like working that hard, and a bazillion gnomes make for very high latency. It was hilarious, entertaining, and great fun. And hey! Babyjess only died twice! She’s now living in Shatt Drenden.
After the race, I logged over to my home server. My guild was in Kara, which I hadn’t signed up for due to my cold. I logged into my druid and worked on killing mobs in my new spec. That’s a post for tomorrow in itself. About 20 minutes later the shout goes out in guild chat…”CURATOR DOWN!! ONE SHOT!!” Now, to some of you this might not seem big. But to us, it was huge. This was our FIRST downing or Curator!! And to finally one shot him was cause for celebration. So I was excited to say the least. Then a dps had to leave. Well, one of the priests that was there, has 3 other 70 alts. All dps. So we switched. I hopped in to his healing spot, he brought in some pew pew and we went. We skipped Shade, not QUITE geared for him yet as a whole. We went straight for the “free epix”. Chess was great fun…once I finally figured out how to maneuver. Sadly that was AFTER I let the king die. We still won though. And our Dwarfadin got a new shield, and our Prot GL got a shiney sword. Oh! and our newest to raiding pally healer got her first t4 token!
What does a group do after downing chess? Well you play again against each other!! King Llane got his revenge and killed me. I lost track of how much time we spent doing this. However when I left, our mage, playing a pawn, was kiting King Llane around the board. Which led to quite amusing conversation on voip.
GL: “are you….Kiting me??”
Mage: “haha yes!”
Jess: “I’m sorry…I gave his hunter kiting lessons yesterday…totally my fault”
GL: “I’m being kited by…a pawn”
I love voice. Really…lol another interesting convo, of course came after the King (also, our GL’s guild rank I might add, guess we know who gets to play the king in chess full time) in PvP chess killed both of us healers. We told him we quit healing him, he was on his own….
King GL: “hey these priests auto heal me if noone is playing them”
random group member: “Ha we found replacements for J and J!”
Priest J: “It’s nice to know my replacement is a heartless robot!”
I love my guild, we may not be the best progressing guild out there, but damn we’re fun.
