Today started my attempt to get honor and arena points for my druid. Hubby and I did six arena matches, we won one. The one we won was against two rogues. For whatever reason they focus fired the hubby (rogue) and ignored me. Silly move. I kept hubby up as he dispatched one of them, (mind you we both had a thorns buff) that’s when Rogue #2 finally thought to kill the healer. Well, he tried. The thing is, I don’t JUST have the thorns buff. I have the Brambles talent. It increases the damage done by thorns and roots by 75%, and don’t be laughing at that!:P So rogue #2 was already pretty low without ever being touched. So, when he focused on me I just HoT myself up, go cheeta and run in circles, while hubby smacks him in the back. One hit and he dropped. Never underestimate a druid’s thorn buff.
I’ve also been working on BG’s since last night. i want some nice leather boots. So I have been doing each BG, then turning in the tokens for the extra 314 honor, as well as doing the daily. Well it’s WSG weekend, so I decided to do a few. And I had the BEST losing WSG ever. It started when I found myself face to face with a Tauren resto druid. Now, we both knew we couldn’t kill each other. It would have taken days. So, what do you do in that situation? Well, you duke it out old school! Eventually, he decided to go steal our flag, since noone else was there. So, the chase was on. I ran out after him, all the way to the Horde tunnel.
And there I found 
him flag in hand. But we still had one problem. I couldn’t kill him, he couldn’t kill me. So, once again, the fisticuffs erupt. That is until a shammy walked in, and after watching for a few seconds, effectively ended my life. I found myself at the spirit healer waiting to rez, and laughing my ass off. I have always hated WSG. Yes, shame on me, I’m a bad Night Elf I know. But this little moment really made the loss worth it. I had more fun losing that match than I’ve had winning any other BG ever.
I finally rez, and head back to our hold and low and behold, there’s my boxing partner! In travel form, just like me! Cat Fight!!! Til a warlock killed him. I’d say we came out even at the end of round three.
That is flippin’ hilarious! I’ve had moments like that with fellow priests — before Discipline was so re-vamped that a Holy raiding priestess like myself had more problems than before.
