Last night was Kara part deux. Chess, Prince, Netherspite, Maiden. Chess opted to not drop the leather healing boots yet. But That’s OK, I have the cloth ones from shade. Prince was a bit stubborn about dying. Until we decided it was Time For Fhuun. We weren’t having much luck with just 2 healers, one being me the Tree of Noob. Once Fhuun joined in though it went smoothly. our poor bear druid still didn’t get his Helm of Awesome, but my hubby got his when the rogue token dropped. I got a nice neck for offspec. Clearly, I’ll be the opposite of Fimlys and have my boomkin set filled in before my tree spec. After Prince we moved down to Netherspite, who was generous enough to give me Pantaloons of Repentance. I got them gemmed, just need the healing thread. That’s going to take some work, but in the end I’ll gain over 50 healing over my Pants of Living Growth. As you can see I already equipped them anyhow, as the base stats were an improvement. Then came the Maiden. Now, I saw the plate gloves drop. And I HEARD the raid leader say “She dropped a shard”. I took this to mean…shard the bracers, and that was that. Then they linked it…Shard of the Virtuous. And gave me a little ribbing…hehe. With all this cloth, I think I’m officially a cottonwood tree.
Now this run had me saying oops a few times. Once, when I totally forgot to use Barkskin during the axes on Prince, and again during Netherspite when I was the healer staying in during banish, and the priests says “Syn are you out of mana?” OOPS! Sadly I had to take a pot to innervate. I think I just slipped into priest mode for a moment there, and forgot I had Innervate. Either way, I gave myself plenty of chances to laugh at myself. I’m sure I’ll be better next time.
Happy Fourth All!! This is the last I’ll be blogging now until my Mom goes home. At least about WoW. Now that I’ve officially moved my personal blog over, I’ll have that to blog about too.
